⚙️ Preferred Minimum Requirements

• Processor: 1 GHz (or faster), dual-core (x86‑64 v2 or ARMv8.1) with SSE4.2 and POPCNT support

• Memory (RAM): 4 GB

• Storage: 64 GB or larger

• Storage Type: SSD required

• Firmware: UEFI with Secure Boot enabled

• TPM: TPM 2.0 required

• Graphics / DirectX: DirectX 12 graphics support

• Display: Minimum 9-inch, 720p HD

⚙️ Optional (Reduced) Minimum Requirements

These apply to specialist “appliance‑like” IoT deployments (IoT Enterprise LTSC). TPM, Secure Boot, UEFI, and even DirectX are optional, allowing much lighter hardware:

• Processor: still 1 GHz, 2 cores (same ISA requirement applies)

• RAM: 2 GB

• Storage: 16 GB

• Storage Type: SSD, HDD, SSHD, or flash (eMMC/SD/USB) supported

• Firmware: BIOS allowed (UEFI optional)

• TPM / Secure Boot: Optional

• DirectX: DirectX 10 or none

• Display: Optional, customizable size

🧠 Important Notes

• All 24H2-based releases—including LTSC—require CPU support for SSE4.2 and POPCNT; systems without these instructions (e.g. some older Core 2 CPUs) will not boot even under IoT LTSC.

• TPM 2.0, Secure Boot, and UEFI remain mandatory on non‑IoT Windows 11 Enterprise LTSC if you choose the traditional (non‑IoT) Enterprise LTSC SKU.

• This edition (24H2 LTSC) is the only released LTSC build to date—there was no 23H2 LTSC version.
